The wait is finally over. Racing Master Global Release is officially launching on May 8, and if you've been holding off on playing, now's the time to get ready. Here’s everything you need to know.
Racing Master is a mobile racing game with over 100 licensed real-world cars, realistic tracks from around the globe, and graphics and sounds that actually feel like a proper racing game. This game was built with Codemasters, the same studio behind the F1 series, so you already know the quality bar is high.
You can customize your cars, race in real-time against other players, and compete on tracks that look and feel like the real thing.
It's been in development and regional testing for about 700 days, so this launch has been a long time coming.
What Servers Are Going Live on May 8?
The "global" launch on May 8 covers North America (NA) and Europe (EU) servers only. If you've already been playing on the SEA, LATAM, or Japan servers, here's the tough news:
- Your progress will not carry over to the new NA/EU servers
- Starting fresh on NA/EU means starting from zero
- There's no official confirmation yet on whether cross-server transfers will happen later
So if you're on the current servers, think carefully before switching. You might want to wait for more details before creating a new account.
What to Look Forward To

Even with the server situation, there's a lot to be excited about:
- 100+ licensed cars — real brands, real models, not made-up ones
- Real-world tracks — race on circuits you'd actually recognize
- Deep car customization — tune your car to match your playstyle
- Real-time multiplayer — race against actual players, not just bots
- Console-level visuals and sound — built with Codemasters, so expect it to feel premium
To see which car brands will be playable, check out the current complete SEA car list.
Should You Start Playing on May 8?
Suppose you're a new player or based in NA/EU, absolutely. May 8 is your day one, a fresh start, same for everyone. Check out the current SEA Tier List to know which cars are the best of the best.
If you're an existing player on SEA/LATAM/Japan, hold tight. Keep an eye on the official Discord for updates on whether your progress will be protected in any way.
Racing Master's global launch is a big deal for mobile racing fans. May 8 is coming fast, make sure you know which server you're jumping into, and go in prepared. See you on the track.
